Emma-6_edited_edited.jpg

Emma was born and raised in Traverse City, MI and now resides in Commerce Township, MI with her partner Jason & their two kids, Salem and Winnie. Emma first found yoga as a teenager, in 2004, while trying to navigate Anxiety and ADHD. She found it to be a great outlet for self-regulation & compassionate self-care. Her infectious spirit, creative personality, and empathetic soul have led her down a path of self-discovery and a passion to help others. In 2011, she graduated from Central Michigan University with her Bachelors of Arts Degree, in Communication Disorders and Human Development. After having her son, Salem, Emma dove deeper into her yoga practice by receiving her 200 Hour Yoga Teacher Training in 2017-with the intention of teaching kids & family yoga. Flash forward to present and 2 kids later, Emma received her Child/Family Yoga Certification through Rainbow Kids Yoga. With her education and compassion for others, she founded Soul Happy Kids Yoga with the intention to teach life changing kindness & mindfulness to children and families.
